Cheap Trick:

While working at my shop on Long Island, the phone rang and one of the stage managers from Cheap Trick got on the line and asked if I could repair of one Rick Nielsen's Fender Twins that he was using for a show that night. I told him to bring it to me, and I would have it ready for the show. It was an easy repair. I brought it to the show, of course not charging them anything, and they responded by giving me the “Red Carpet” treatment. Food, drinks, party party party…………. They also signed Bun E. Carlos drum skin as well as a small photo. I thought that was a cool alternative to the standard press photo.
