Dream Theater:  | Derek Sherinian was playing keyboards for Dream Theater when I met him at my shop in 1997. They were doing a show at a local Long Island venue when I got his call asking for some help on his Korg BX3. I fixed that bugger on stage hours before the show, and they treated me royally for having done so. I did some more work for him a few months later, and the band was kind enough to sign a photo for my collection. Derek left the band in 1999 to work with the likes of Al DiMeola, Yngwie Malmsteen and Billy Sheehan, among many. |
